What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “cookies”) the Emirates Aerosports website (the “Site”) sets on your device, what each one does, and how to control them. It complements the Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Modern sites also use comparable mechanisms — localStorage, sessionStorage, and clear pixels in transactional emails — that work similarly. We refer to all of these as cookies for the purpose of this policy.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for core Site functionality and cannot be disabled without breaking parts of the Site. They do not identify you across visits and are not used for analytics or advertising.
- cf_chl_* / cf_clearance (Cloudflare) — short-lived cookies set during enquiry form submission to defend against automated abuse via Cloudflare Turnstile. Retention: minutes to one day depending on the challenge type.
- csrftoken — session-tied security token issued by our backend on form submission to prevent cross-site request forgery. Cleared at the end of your session.
Analytics
The Site does not currently set Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics cookies. Aggregate visit data, where collected, is logged server-side without identifying you and is not associated with cookies. If we add a privacy-preserving analytics tool in the future, we will update this policy and the Privacy Policy before doing so.
Advertising and tracking
We do not set or permit any advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies on the Site. We do not run paid acquisition campaigns that require these cookies.
Third-party cookies
The only third-party cookies we permit are the Cloudflare cookies listed under “Strictly necessary” above — they are required to protect the form submission endpoint from automated abuse. We do not embed third-party widgets (maps, social plugins, chat) that would set their own cookies.
How to control cookies
You can manage cookies through:
- Your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, delete existing cookies, or refuse cookies entirely. Note that blocking the Cloudflare cookies may prevent the contact form from accepting your submission.
- Tracker-blocking extensions. Tools such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger will block trackers automatically; since we do not load tracking scripts, these extensions should have no effect on Site functionality.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where your browser sends a GPC or Do Not Track header, we treat it as an objection to any non-essential cookies that we may add in the future.
Updates
We update this policy whenever cookies are added, removed, or repurposed. Material changes are accompanied by an updated date at the top of the page.
